Yangyong Zhu is a Professor of Computer Science in Fudan University, Shanghai, China. He received a Ph.D. degree in Computer and Software Theory from Fudan University, China, in 1994. His research interests include database, data mining and their applications in finance, economics, insurance, bioinformatics and sociology. He has published more than 100 papers. His research has been supported in part by the National High-Tech Research and Development Plan (863) of China, the National Natural Science Foun-dation of China (NSFC), and the Development Fund of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. He is a Doctoral Supervisor in School of Computer Science, Fudan University, the director of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Data Science, Fudan University.
