Xin Peng is a full professor of the School of Computer Science at Fudan University, China. His research interests include data-driven intelligent software development, software maintenance and evolution, mobile and cloud computing (especially microservice). His work won the Best Paper Award at the 27th International Conference on Software Maintenance (ICSM 2011), the ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at the 33rd IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE 2018), the IEEE TCSE Distinguished Paper Award at the 34th IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance and Evolution (ICSME 2018). He served on several program committees of prestigious international conferences in software engineering area such as ICSE, ASE, ICSME, RE, ICSR, SPLC, ICPC. He was the local chair of ICGSE 2014 and ICSME 2017, and program co-chair of ICSR 2019. He is a steering committee member of ICSME. He was an editor of the special issue of Journal of Software, Evolution and Process of ICSME 2018, the special issue of Science China Information Sciences for Internetware 2017, the special issue of Journal of Software (in Chinese) for Data-Driven Intelligent Software Development (2018).
